Gene joined the elder team in October 2010, and oversees all of the financial matters of the church.

Mike serves at Horizon in many different capacities. His primary responsibility as elder is to oversee many of the things that happen behind the scenes on a Sunday morning, including setup and tear down, the worship team, and the tech team. Feel free to contact him if you would be interested in helping out in any of these areas.

Rich has been at Horizon since early 2009, and has been serving as an elder since 2010. His primary goal as elder is to develop and deploy an effective small group and discipleship ministry at Horizon. Rich is also very active with the Horizon youth group, among other things. Rich works for LSI Corp as a software engineer, and lives in Whitehall.

Tim has attended Horizon since 2005 and has been an Elder since 2007. He and his wife Dona have been married for 30 years and have two children, Ben and Sarah, whom are both grown and married. Tim & Dona are teachers for the K-2 Sunday School class and Tim occasionally fills in, playing guitar for the Praise & Worship Band. Tim oversees the outreach component of Horizon. He and his team organize annual events, such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Faith in Action, Halloween outreach, and many others. Tim would be glad to talk to you if you have any thoughts about other ways Horizon can be reaching out to our community. Tim is a Psychologist in Private Practice working predominately with children, adolescents, and their families. In his spare time he enjoys, fishing, skiing, and going for walks with Dona and their two golden retrievers.
